Ugly 12 rounds in prospect

Chief support for Pacquiao v Marquez III as Top Rank's newest signing, Timothy Bradley (27-0, 11 KO's) defends his WBO 140lbs title against 40 year old two time world champion Joel Casamayor (38-5-1, 22 KO's).

Bradley is regarded as the #1 in the 140 division, but hasnt fought for 10 months because of promotional wrangles. That last fight was a big unification bout with Devon Alexander, which was a terrible, and typical ugly Bradley fight. He is a good fighter Bradley, but I hear people talking about him fighting Pacquiao, and you think he's not a really great Boxer and his KO% isnt very high either. This is a big chance for him to shine and it's a good opportunity to get a name on his record, but I'm really not convinced by his style.

It got a bit heated at the press conference
Casamayor really was a great fighter a few years ago, but he is 40 years old now and looked every bit that age when sneaking a split decision 10 round win over Manuel Leyva last time out. Only a year and a bit ago he did go 10 rounds with Robert Guerrero though, putting him down in the last round, and that shows he could be able to test Bradley. He is a southpaw and he is known for using some rough house tactics, which he may have to rely on here.

This really could be an ugly clash, Casamayor could prove to be way over the the hill and Bradley kills him inside the first six rounds, but he's only been stopped once, which was by Juan Manuel Marquez, and his experience could see this go 12.
