Prescott can take Alvarado's unbeaten record

Breidis Prescott (24-3, 19 KO's) makes a quick return to UK television screens as he faces Mike Alvarado (31-0, 22 KO's) on the Pacquiao v Marquez III undercard.

Alvarado is ranked #17 in the world, but when you consider he's had 31 fights, it's clear that he's not been beating anyone. I'm looking at his last five fights and I see nobody with any real hunger or quality. He was on a big tv card in May against Ray Narh, and that looked like a tough test, but the Ghanaian just didnt want to know, so still not much is known of him. He's aggressive and the worry is that might not suit this fight as he faces the extremely strong Prescott.
Prescott is a big betting underdog v Alvarado

It's been just two months since the “Khanqueror” visited Britain to face Paul McCloskey, which he lost in a very close 12 round fight. In America or anywhere else bar Belfast, he could very well have won that fight, but a lack of stamina cost him as he really faded. I think he needs to step up to welterweight , but he clearly fancies his chances taking this fight so early, and at this weight he is still a serious puncher, who actually has very under-rated skills.

The 10 round distance will suit Prescott better and I think the style of this fight could really help, so I think he's a great looking underdog against a guy who's very untested.
